Walk together with friluftsfrämjandet on historic land on Saturday, May 9th

Discover the Pilgrim Trail Göta Älv with us!

We discover the newly inaugurated Pilgrim Trail Göta River (Lödöseleden) and walk the stage from Skepplanda to Lödöse! With us on the hike we have Johan Norling who is the lead developer for the trail. Johan will tell you about the Pilgrim Trail and about interesting places we pass.

We meet at Lödöse Södra commuter train station at 10:00. You can easily get there by commuter train from Gothenburg or by car. There is plenty of parking. Then we walk about 10 km along the trail to Skepplanda church. We will walk through woods and over moors and pass both ancient remains, picturesque cottages and not least Alvhem’s royal estate where we eat our lunch / coffee. Once at Skepplanda church, we take bus 434 for a few minutes down to Älvängen station where we end the hike. From there you can take the train to Gothenburg or to your car at Lödöse station. If you want, you can also visit the Lödöse museum.

We look forward to hiking together!
